The wixarica gastronomy is principally made out of the "three sisters" (bean, corn and squash). This is because these are the local near products. They also use traditional ways or methods for cook it, so that makes their food stand out of the other foods.
For example we have:
- Prepared sea food
- Tejuino (fermented corn drink)
- Nopales (cactus sleeves)
- Deer meat
- Fresh salsas (made of tomato and chili)
